What’s happening right now

Your ovaries are growing multiple follicles — normally they'd grow just one. The daily injections (usually FSH-based) push several follicles to mature together. You'll have 2–4 short scans over 9–14 days so the clinic can measure each follicle and adjust your dose.

What to expect next

When most follicles reach 17–20mm, your doctor will schedule the trigger shot at a precise time (often late at night). Egg retrieval follows exactly 34–36 hours later — timing is not flexible, so clear your calendar.
